It all begins with an idea.

The following is my beginning effort to invite you into developing or growing an “Innerstanding” of Who, What, and Why I am the way I am.

For those of you that have had any kind of interactive, in person connection with me before, as you explore what I share on this site will open up dimensions of “Knowing” about what you picked up about me and for those that have not met me in person yet, depending on how deeply you have explored your own inner self, will determine how much of what I post makes any sense at all or becomes food or fuel to turn up your own curiosity about the nature of reality, why we are here, what we are capable of with the gifts, talents and experiences we’ve had.

My aim is feed you in such a way as to inspire your turning up your own inner light or “In-Lighten-ment” so that you may see with much greater luminosity what you may have had glimpse of or have not been conscious of within your own psyche that can propel you to a more empowering experience of life and all it can offer.

Here’s where The Story of Dragon 🐉 That Watched Over the Boy begins….

As a preschool aged child I used to see colorful dragons 🐉 flying through the trees in our front yard. It would be flying in

My little consciousness had none of what most thinkers called rational logic programming and so my creative spirit showed me lots of things I later realized that beliefs filter out of perception.

Once I started grade school I became conscious of how I didn’t have the same interest in what the teacher wanted everyone to focus upon as most of the other kids.

Instead I daydreamed and looked out the classroom window, and drew on the paper she gave us. I’d look into the eyes of others or even at the side or backs of their heads and would see and hear and feel things that seemed disjointed to my own life as I’d experienced it so far.

I seemed to always be in a whirl-wind of feelings, random thoughts, visions of things, people, places, sensations as if the environment around me was alive with broadcast and like a fish is to the water they’ve always lived in, I experienced it as just life… Overwhelming or not.

Moving along through the formal school years, I found that I definitely was not ready to become any kind of sponge for most of what the grades threw at me.

However when it came to Interpersonal Communication Skills, Creative Writing, Biology and tending to the high school green house - Agricultural Resources they called that class, I was gifted. I knew things beyond what the books contained and could not explain why or how. I literally inhaled the class books for each topic the first few weeks of each year and never needed to open them again. Yet when the teacher would throw out a question to the class I could throw up my hand and not only give the correct book answer but expand upon it at levels I couldn’t explain the sources for either yet the teachers eyes would light up as they had either learned some of what I shared in their own research or innately knew that what I unpacked was cutting edge new insights.

Several of my teachers started a protocol of before tossing out a question to the class, they’d say, “This question is for the general classroom. If you all can’t answer it, Erskien will tell us what it is!”

In classed I didn’t have a volition or attraction to… Every word the teacher spewed sounded like a foreign language to me. I couldn’t make sense of what was being preached and would most of the time put my head down and fall asleep or go deeply into daydreams of being out riding my bicycle across the country side - exploring and having adventures.

My report cards were always A’s and D-’s Every quarter the subjects that didn’t speak to me generated “take home letters” to my mom and usually a meeting with mom and the teacher with stern warnings that I could be held back a grade if I didn’t get my grade up in that subject.

I’d struggle like a car driving on flat tires and end up with D- to get the subject behind me only to find out the next school year they offered the same crap at an even harder level and the teachers talked even faster and got offended if I asked for tutoring after school.

Football, Baseball, Basketball were the sports I was expected to have an interest in by most everyone around me. I had zero interest.

Sports like cycling, running, speed skating, Aikido and gymnastics called me where ever they showed up in my life.

In middle America I was an Orange Cone to everyone who encountered me give or take a couple of girlfriends and a couple of guy friends that somewhat “Got Me”.

As a kid the thing that brought me the most peace was riding my bicycle..

So come rain, sleet, snow or hail or heat and humidity and clouds of mayflies to ride through, I rode.

I explored everywhere my legs could carry me. Which even from way before my preteens, on all steel, one speed banana seat bikes, I wandered from township to township up to about 25 mile radius until I got my first 10 speed, all steel drop handlebar bike.

From there, I expanded to up to a 100 mile radius of home.

From there I got into bicycle road racing and began to travel to races all over the nation.

Not wanting this first post to become an entire book I’m going to fast forward (for now) to this era of my life:

Having stumbled through the supposedly grown up season of manhood trying to figure out what kind of work was my calling, sort out all the nuances of romantic relationships, buying cars and houses, surviving Near Death Experiences - (Yes, more than one!) Bankruptcies, job changes, rebuilding many aspects of my life and shedding layer by layer of the effects of the past upon my attempts to do ever better in each season of life.

One day I stumbled upon something categorically called a Meyers - Briggs Type Indicator test based upon Carl Jung a very insightful psychologist I’d read some of his works in the past.

This MBTI test is constructed with sliding scale or spectrum like possible multiple choice like answers that are designed to help any one strip away all that has been overlayed over their natural - innate - indigenous - as in born with personality preferences that illustrates their innate strengths or “Super Powers” and also the aspects of their personality they can be pretty good at if they can find motivation to focus upon but will usually leave them feeling drained and in need of serious escapism to allow the psychic drain to replenish their spirits.

Upon taking the 10 minute assessment, the result produced a spectrum focus called an INFP-A

The Secret to Inner Peace While Living All Out

It all begins with an idea.

We live in a world where everyone wants to get someplace yesterday and proceeds to generate piles of anxiety that leads to fear motivated rushing to everywhere.

Once we realize that no one and nothing can make us fearful or anxious unless we agree to give away our inner peace, then and only then can we choose to let go of what we cannot control or is irrelevant to our inner peace.

When I am fully engaged in a 100+ mile high speed ride on any given day, all my bodily systems are cranking out all the fluid force I can muster at just at my anaerobic threshold (that pace where you can not possibly hold a conversation with anyone who might have come along or biologically speaking we are operating at the maximum rate of power output possible while breathing in oxygen. Any increase in effort from that line or heart rate or power output creates a deficit and we go anerobic, which is very painful as lactic acid build up in the under oxygenated systems creates a burning sensation that forces those untrained at tolerating such to shut down or back off)

How is this relevant to inner peace?

I get asked a lot about “Do I meditate?”

Anyone still attached to any level of identity other than pure consciousness will find themselves wanting to avoid high tempo anaerobic riding. training or racing because these kinds of experiences causes one to “Love their Minds” - Identification with ones mind or thoughts causes a fight or flight reaction and takes ones focus away from what is witnessing all that’s going on at flat out speeds.

Peace is not a place of nothing going on but one of mental and emotional detachment or freedom from all that is going on.

The almost 1 million human powered miles I’ve traversed so far, were possible because of my willingness to let go of trying wrangle with the discomfort of riding all day across endless flat lands where every direction seemed to have a head wind. Riding fast in big gears was a coping mechanism towards compressing the time it took to cover the massive distances I’ve always loved to “Land Surf” across.

If I rode any slower that just meant I was out there in the sun, the rain, the wind, the clouds of bugs native to the midwest, riding with inadequate calories and water for that much longer.

Think of it this way: If a runner wants to run a 26.2 mile traditional marathon and takes 5 hrs to reach the finish line and well trained threshold bumping runner takes 2 1/2 hours to cover the same distance who put their body through more suffering and trauma during the marathon?

The fit runner who has found peace within his or her body (think of your body as meditation temple) settles into a Zen like Flow State soon right out of the gate. The less fit runner might begin to find their flow state around mile 17 which is way too late as they’ve probably run out of muscle glycogen - or stored glucose, are dehydrated and their feet, knees and hip joints are hammered from poor running form, inferior nutrition and lack of digestive system health or hygiene, and because of all the pain alarms going off throughout his or her body, the mind is struggling to find the fire extinguisher!

The Fit Runner has mastered all those red flags in training. The Fit Runner has sought the edges of pain and discomfort and made friends with them, opened dialogues and learned tons of valuable insights from the miles instead of expecting just pain and discomfort and nothing else to come from it.

It is our conscious mental intention to become reflective within our playing the edges of our comfort zones instead of projective: more or less negative self talk that mentally shuts us down long before we’ve discovered the gold in going beyond our previous inner boundaries.

Make it an intentional practice on most rides to have some segments or a growing length within a given ride, dedicated to pushing your power output with a higher cadence and tempo to motivate your body (Your Avatar) to want to grow. To want to not just adapt but to over adapt.

Over Adaption or The Philosophy of Regeneration

It all begins with an idea.

Let’s talk about Chinese Medical Knowledge History for a moment.

The Chinese as a culture have experimented with and documented over 5000 yrs of trial and errors with what food grade and medicinal qualities of plants or herbs do in and upon the surface of the human body. They actually have millions of scrolls and books dating back up to 5000 yrs in the handwriting of their original authors as these explorations were happening in real time!

In their experiments, they realized there are 2 classes of herbs or plants that can be useful to humans.

The first is Food Grade.

Food Grade herbs or plants can only nourish the body. Meaning supply the organic or living instructions and raw materials our tongues and other glandular organs read the energetic and genetic signatures of as they get chewed and exposed to the taste buds, the lining of the mouth and gums - all hard wired directly to the brain by a large nerve network that goes into the bottom of each tooth in our mouth.

The second category of plants are called Medicinal Herbs.

Medicinal Herbs either stimulate or sedate cells and systems of our bodies. They cannot nourish.

Medicinals are purely for crisis intervention purposes and were the original sources of most modern drugs.

The Pharmaceutical industry cannot patent already living natural organisms including plants. Thus their ability to capture a given stimulating or sedating effect upon a given symptom pattern to profit from having the only solution to alleviate the symptom pattern is almost non existent if they have to rely upon natural solutions.

This is why the pharmaceutical industry seeks to identify the “Isolated Ingredient” in the herb to make pill or potion to administer to symptomatic humans so they can charge exorbitant amounts of money for chemicals that include extravagant and even deadly side effects the original herb does not.

There is a deeper side to herbology than all this to consider though.

A truly well fed, rested, rigorously exercised human will not get sick!

The body is designed to heal and balance itself if given the right combinations of raw, whole, living foods that its tongue recognizes as innate food for the optimization of human systems.

Western Science is just beginning to recognized things like Innate Intelligence, the intelligence that orchestrates the trillions of biochemical transactions that happen millions of times per second from the time we are conceived to our last breath of this lifetime.

Western Science is slowly peeping over the horizon of what we so called Extreme Athletes have known since forever: That the body is designed to over adapt for longer along the human lifetime than has been previously proposed if its given its species specific living foods diet of primarily water rich, sweet, ripe fruits supplemented with occasional meals of the softer fiber in composition, more water rich and sweeter varieties of greens and vegetables either eaten solo or in salads of not too many different combinations that require significantly different digestive juices and digestion time or duration of time to render absorbable.

These very simple and easy to digest in their raw form foods that our tongues naturally sense as desirable as is, contain everything we need to both supply our bodies with all the raw ingredients needed to build strong, lean tissues and they also produce very little unusable left over toxic matter nor require a ton of bodily resources to digest and move through the digestive tract,

Here’s a simple test to see what a human is naturally wired to eat almost right out of the wrapper so to speak…

Take a just crawling - teething toddler and place it in an enclose play pen.

Inside the play pen put a pile of raw seeds, a pile of raw grains, a pile of raw nuts, a pile of raw greens, a pile of raw veggies, a pile of raw cuts of fruits, a pile of raw cuts of meat.

Watch the child sort through which foods are a red flag to its tongue which is natures “Gate Keeper” for what’s for us vs toxic or useless to us and spits out everything until it gets to the fruits of which it goes to town so to speak!

Nature has NO LIE in it! Nature has had millions of years to work out perfection for all its creatures in regard to their ideal food choices.

How do we know that humans are not natural carnivores?

Take away all technology and give us only our meat suits. What can we catch and eat as it is without risking salmonella or ecolli poisoning without fire? Or the high likelihood of ingestion of parasites or other pathogens that rapidly multiply in all animals once their immune system is destroyed through death and dying?

Humans are not only the only creatures on Earth that believe they need to expose their food choices to fire to render it safe to eat and or edible. That’s a red flag!

We are also the only species that believes its somehow healthy to hide to fowl or unattractive taste of our misaligned food like choices with minerals and plant extracts. That’s another red flag!

True carnivores have night vision. We don't!

True carnivores have snouts so they can insert their mouth into the body cavity of dead animals and feast upon the animals guts first while still able to periscopically look around for other potential carnivores that might want to make them desert after they jump the feeder from behind to steal its meal.

Humans, if we could stomach burying our faces into the guts and feces of a dead animal would be ass to the breeze exposed and completely blind to true carnivores that approached from any direction as we crouched down gnawing on gore and stench.

Never mind that even a starving human would likely throw up during any attempt to bury their faces in potentially maggot infested disemboweled corpses.

Whereas a true carnivore would be salivating at the sight, smell and taste!

True Carnivores saliva is acidic. Ours is slightly alkaline.

True Carnivores produce huge amounts of hydrochloric acid to digest not just raw muscle but bones, teeth, hair, skin, ligaments and everything else a corpse contains - maggots!

We produce only small amounts.

True Carnivores have very short digestive tracts - even an 800 lb bear has only about 8 feet of intestine. They eat the bones and even the teeth of their kills to help neutralize some the acidic effects of eating high meat or all meat diet.

We as normal sized adults - male or female have between 20 and 30 feet of intestines! Most everywhere in our bodies is slightly alkaline in pH and anywhere that becomes chronically too acidic in pH becomes a breeding ground for bad bacterias and diseased conditions including cancer.

We have color vision to decree ripe from unripe fruits.

True carnivores have black and white vision.

NO one would argue that a domestic dog would thrive upon the same things a wolf thrives upon and they share 99.9% of their DNA as the same.

Humans are 99.6% the same genetic makeup as Gorillas, Banobo Chimpanzees and Orangutans. Yet look at what these primates eat as their optimal diet and what humans have technologically tried to co-op!

All of our cousins are far stronger than we are and more muscular. I wonder where they get their proteins from?

Question all you’ve been sold!

In a capitalistic realm as we have all grown up inside, you will never be told anything that keeps your attached to, trusting in, or knowledgable in Nature or what’s natural, innate and healthy.

You will only be told and sold on what’s based on mans extremely limited understanding of nature AKA ones own self and selfs Avatar like meat suit for doing life!

In other words… Just about everything you’ve been told about how your body works, its depth of intelligence, its ability to heal and balance itself, its ability to over adapt and regenerate itself has been edited out on purpose.

The reason being that an ignorant person is easy to exploit and manipulate and can be sold just about anything if you can keep the hypnosis piled on continuously.

Question Everything…. Your Body Knows… Knowing is it’s true language!

Food like choices vs innately resonant choices and the beginnings of understanding elimination

It all begins with an idea.

You’ve probably heard the saying: “Abs are made in the kitchen!”

What they tell you is this is about portion control and micro managing your macros or large nutrients like proteins, carbs, fats and vitamins.

What this really means is that if one goes to a living foods diet high in raw, water rich, unpoisoned, sweet, ripe fruits supplemented with salads of greens and veggies of the softer fiber, higher in water content and sugars that require zero heating to render safe to eat and digestible, your body’s innate super intelligence will naturally release all the toxic water its accumulated due to poor and wrong food choices and nutrient ratios along with missing “Living Water” content.

Most of what we’ve been led to believe is weight gain due to fat is actually dirty water retention for the purpose of keeping us alive long enough to figure out how misaligned with nature we’ve chose to experience.

Let’s talk about the Lymph System for a bit…

Our bodies are composed of roughly 75 Trillion Cells.

Each one of these cells - give or take those that live on the outer surface of our skin, are surrounded by water.

Since the day of our conception to the day we take our final breath, these 75 trillion cells have been peeing and pooping into their surrounding waters.

These waterways are what collectively are known as our Lymph System.

The Lymph System is the Sewer System of the entire body from head to toes and finger tips to finger tips.

The Lymph System is as big as our circulatory system but has no heart to pump its volume of fluids or sewage.

The Lymph System can actually swell to contain up to 6 times the volume of the circulatory system!

No one would question how important our heart beat is towards the purification and deoxygenation of our blood is for keeping us alive. About 5 minutes of a lack of a heart beat and this lifetime is over!

For most supposedly educated humans the depth of their understanding of the Lymph System is a happenstance over hearing of someone on tv stating “The cancer is in the Lymph Nodes” - that’s about it!

Image 75 Trillion Cells worth of urine AKA Uric Acid and poop or the remains of metabolic combustion of the biological components of living foods, sitting in these microscopic sewers stagnating!

The only thing that moves lymph fluid is the massaging action of muscles rigorously contracting and being pulled and reextended through rigorous physical daily activities!

This massaging action moves lymph to larger pathways and organs like the kidneys, liver, lungs, skin and intestinal walls where the metabolic toxins and any externally brought in toxins via the air we breath, the water we drink, the so called foods we eat, anything that gets put on the skin or the skin is exposed to and absorbed.

All of these toxin sources end up in the lymph system.

Let’s talk more about Rigorous Activity:

Our Avatar like meat suits that make it possible for our etherically configured Spirits to actually conduct a meaningful and inner growth oriented “Earth Walk or Journey” is configured or designed to require at least 2 things keep its inner spaces Hygienically Clean.

They are a diet very low in materials the body cannot use that is high in what it needs for constant regeneration, updating of cells and systems, be lightly alkaline in pH so as to maintain an inner environment that is not friendly to bad bacteria who run amuck in an even slightly acidic pH inner environment. And of course the massaging effect of rigorous activities often.

The more living foods oriented the diet, the less time one must be moving to keep the lymph system clean. The more toxic or acidic the diet, constant rigorous movement becomes a life jacket towards keeping the inner spaces livable.

The alkaline vs acidic diet effects is why I am able to ride as little as once a week yet continue to grow stronger, faster and increase my endurance month in and month out.

A person on an acidic diet takes a few days off in a week and reports it seems like it took weeks to get back their edge!

In terms of longevity in both one’s athletic life and lifespan, which way do you think is most likely to produce the sustainability and overall inner system’s vitality needed to end up living a longer and happier lifetime?

Yet we’ve developed lifestyles that program our entire nation and most of the so called civilized world to seek to expend the least amount of effort shuffling from one place to sit to another place to sit.

We’re turning the entire human population into giant shuffling “Colostomy Bags” - what tons of what is labeled “Elderly” and often not even appearing to be or old enough to be labeled elderly get as an external plastic bag attachment via a hole in their lower abdominal wall to poop into instead of out their anus or butt holes due to our hypnotic addictions to primarily cooked and seasoned - tasted camouflaged food like choices gumming up and acidifying the entire digestive tract and killing the colon.

This has become “normal” now!

And like the band on the deck of the Titanic, they just keep the music playing - AKA (commercials selling Exlax or Pepto Bizmol or some other manmade high profit deception for health voodoo.)
